MY FIANCE PICKED MY OUTFIT 3)

Heya everyone, how are you all? Ive had a lovely day today, I was treated to lunch at Bernies in Bridge of Weir by Chris. Its a fantastic cafe, i really need to get some photos to show you all! The decor is lovely and there are sofas you can sit at as well as tables. I really love going there because its a much healthier option than a take away and it doesn't work out as expensive i don't think. I had carrot and coriander soup with 2 slices of white bread, i was going to have the ham on the bone sandwich but unfortunately they had ran out of the ham! The soup was really good, Chris got some with his chicken club sandwich but he was too full so i ended up eating his portion as well!

As we were leaving Chris got me a slice of their Victoria Sponge cake, which i can honestly say is the best victoria sponge that has ever passed my lips. The size of the slices they give you as well, Oh My God. Massive. I've saved it to eat as i was creating this post for you all, and i got out my china tea set. You can see below from/on my instagram.

We then went to Aldis to do some food shopping as our cupboards were a bit bare... Then the heavens decided to open up and rain rather heavily. It looked and sounded as if it was hailstones it was that bad! Luckily we were in the Pets at Home store at the time so Chris ran to the car and parked it right outside so i didn't get too wet. Fortunately though, it actually calmed down quite a bit by the time i was leaving. I was wearing some sunglasses today but by the time we went to shoot it was very very grey and miserable so i didn't feel the need to wear them as i thought it would look silly. But as im writing this exact sentence, the sun is re-appearing... DAMMIT!

As today Chris chose my outfit, hes going to talk through how he came up with it:

"I decided to go for a casual and comfortable look for Hayley today as we were busy getting our weekly food shop and bits and pieces for our rabbits. I personally think Hayley looks amazing in dresses and suits them really well. I chose a nicely coloured billabong dress and some brown and white high tops to match. I used her stylish clutch from Next and her trusty Topshop jacket to complete the outfit. With a few added accessories and some lippy she was ready to go! Im really pleased with the results and enjoyed our day out together! Love you baby xx"

DONT PLAY WITH GUNS

Hiya! Sorry i didnt post yesterday. Our virgin wireless box broke so we were un-able to get onto the internet. We were able to plug in our old box in the later afternoon, but because i didnt think i was going to be able to get on i didnt take any outfit photos. In fact, i was pretty scruffy yesterday as a result of the broken wireless. We've been getting such nice weather in Scotland the past week! So i have been taking full advantage of that to get some posts done. Today Chris very kindly took me to Amarettos my favourite italian restaurant. If you are ever near Bridge of Weir, or even Glasgow you NEED to go there! Its amazing. AND the prices are fantastic for the quality of food you are getting!

We both had bruschetta milano to start with which is pepperoni & mozzarella, too delicious!

I had Branzino di Veneto, which is seabass fish with mediterranean vegetables & chorizo. Its one of my favourite meals ever, the flavour in the vegetables mixed with the chorizo is an explosion in your mouth. This is the meal that has made me want to try and eat more fish.

Chris had Pizza Salsiccia, which is italian sausage with mushrooms but he dosent like them so he had it without the healthy part :P

So for the rest of my/our day we tidied up the flat and i did a washing as the sun was out. Only annoying thing was that there seemed to be a bit of a summer party going on in the garden next to us so i decided to hang the underwear up  inside :P Didnt really want strangers seeing my unders...

So this outfit kind of came together in my head the other day I thought all the yellows would go with the orange shorts and you cant beat the sexyness short shorts and a pair of heels can create. I was going to wear my terrain heels from ZARA but both me and Chris agreed that these cute suede bow sandals looked much better. And who would of thought they were an ebay purchase? Plus a t-shirt and shorts combo are such a classic for summer so i really wanted to wear this as soon as and of course with a twist ;) not just plain jean shorts but ORANGE LEOPARD SHORTS. I added the horse necklace as i wasnt wearing many accessories. I got the necklace because they are nostalgic for me, i grew up with horses and riding. So even at that price i had to get it...

TASTE MY OXBLOOD LIPS

Hey everyone, im so so so sorry ive just disappeared off the face of the earth! First of all, Happy Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope you all had a fantastic time in the holiday season! Ive not really got any excuses except i think i had gotten myself into a bit of a rut. We had unfortunately turned night into day so by the time we were getting up it was like 8 at night and dark and i wasnt going anywhere. Home and bed just seem to be the only places i were going too and the only suitable clothes for that were Pjs, and scruffy clothing if i was to step out at 2 in the morning for a macdonalds. I think my mood had and is maybe still a little bit low and down. Chris has said aswell that im not myself i just seem to be like a blank canvas, no expression, no fun. I do however think is related to it being the holiday period and subconsciously thinking about my mum. I really do miss her and when its the holiday times and birthdays i must be thinking more about her than id like to admit or even realise. So right now plan of action is to sort life out and try and be a bit more up and about!

So this outfit just sort of naturally came together. The sad thing is, ive had this skirt for three years and not worn it once untill this outfit! I got it when i went to New york. I totally love that tartan is in atm as a Scott it makes me quite proud that a national thing is in. I think whats awesome about this skirt aswell is that its not any normal tartan colour. Its ORANGE. I do really love the skirt and ive just been waiting for AGESSS for the right moment! I do quite love this outfit as i think its quite chic and casual at the same time without trying to hard! It has just the right amount of effort in it :)

Im really going to try more now in my photos to "model" a bit more. Because for me i enjoy a blog more if the photography is good and if the blogger is posing and trying. So im really happy with how these photos turned out as they are different from my usual "stand there and smile" photos. Anyway hope you enjoyed reading what i had to say and like my outfit and photos!
