I FEEL LIKE A FRENCH WOMAN TODAY

Hiya guys, i've had a bit of a productive day today! I got up early, well to be honest i didn't go to bed at all... I just stayed up. There is a reasonable explanation though. I had to be up for 11ish and it was already 6:45 so i just thought, its going to take at least another hour or so to fall asleep and there would be no chance of me getting up. So instead i got this months Vogue and read for a wee while before getting some breakfast, then getting ready and out the door. So since this post will be uploaded soon enough, i am going to try and do a bit of tidying around the flat. Plus, i want as much time as i can get this evening and tonight to try and sort out my videos for YouTube! I have no idea why, but YouTube won't accept my videos because of the file format. Even though it says its one of the accepted file formats on the site...

So after we had done what we needed to this morning (still not resolved due to people giving the wrong information! Drives me mad!), Chris was going to take us to get some lunch. But we were fortunate enough to receive a call from his mum and be offered some lunch. Of course we said yes! It just means me and Chris can go out tomorrow to eat, which works out great because i need to get a few "beauty" bits n bobs. It really isn't much, just general shampoo & conditioner as well as some face cream & toner. I'm pretty sure thats as much "beauty" you will get from me, maybe i will get into it more as i get older but right now i highly doubt that. So for lunch we went to a gorgeous pub/restaurant called The Houston Inn, it has a really lovely atmosphere. Its not a general old mans pub ether, it has a fancy homely touch to it.

So for a starter i had camembert and for my main i had chilli nachos! Which are amazing...& fattening...

Coat- Vintage
Dress- Jack Wills in a charity shop £89 £2.50
Boots- River Island
Bag- New Look

OUTFIT DETAILS
So today was just throw together as usual. As i was looking through my wardrobe to find something to wear, i seen this dress and wanted to wear it straight away as i haven't yet. I really love it, i loved it when i first set my eye on it on Jack Wills but it was ridiculously priced at £89! So you can imagine my delight when i found it in a charity shop for £2.50! I added brown accessories and shoes  as i just wasn't in the mood for black today! Hence why i added this coat, i thought the green would match the blue dress and it would be better than a big over-sized black leather jacket.

OLD GIFTS CAN BE RENEWED

Hiya everyone, how are you all doing today? I'm a little bit annoyed with myself today. For a few days there, i was doing really well with getting up early and trying to do something important with my time. Theres things i want to re-arrange or tidy around the flat, but by the time i'm getting up there really is no point on starting. It doesn't help that light bulbs keep going out because by late evening its pitch black, so its too dark to try and tidy everything. I really need to try and remember to get some new light bulbs this weekend. I'm also wanting another lamp for our bedroom, we had to move the smaller one form the living room into the bedroom. So i eventually want to move that light back to where it originally was.  In our bedroom the big lights' bulb also broke, as well as something happening to the lamp in there...

I have alot of posts and videos i need to organise so i can finally upload everything online. So i think wether or not i like it, i am going to have to get up quite early one day and just get everything ready to go for my blog and youtube. The problem is, i lack in motivation so much! I struggle to organise myself sometimes. So tomorrow is a new day, i will start with the early mornings again and try to get all my backdated stuff up online. So as usual on a wednesday we went out with Chris' grandparents and we went to Frankie and Bennys at Xscape, braehead for lunch. By the way, they have changed their specials menu so i would go check it out if you get the chance!

Cilli bbq chicken wings to start with and philly chicken wrap with a jacket potato for my main! (trying to make healthier choices with my meals!)

Jacket- Vintage
Dress- Orion London at Topshop
Boots- H&M
Hat- H&M buy here
Bag- eBay buy here
Scarf- Present (14th)

OUTFIT DETAILS
So todays outfit is very green. I can't help it, i love the colour! The post title is linked to this dress, i got it for my 15th birthday and its my first "branded/designer" dress and i have always been in love with it! I still am, even though its old and tatty. Plus i have way nicer dresses than this one now... But it will always hold a special place in my heart. I actually wore this the other day, but we ran out of daylight to photograph, as its getting very dark early in Scotland now. I have added a few more bits and bobs to what i originally wore the other day, but i had a bit more time to think about it today. So i thought the hat and coat would add a very nice touch with their style, as well as the coat matching the colours in my dress. The scarf was added because its now freezing here! I also wanted to wear some heels with this dress so naturally my green boots were selected.

DRESS ME IN RED & TARTAN

Hey everyone, so this outfit is from last night when we went out. We decided to go the cinema after dinner as well, so by the time we got in it was already 12ish. I tried to get my post up but by the time we were actually getting into bed i just didn't have time to finish off everything i needed too. It takes me about half hour putting in the clothing links for my blog, chictopia and lookbook. As well as posting updates on my facebook page and twitter to let everyone know i've updated. So i decided to just get the main bulk sorted. Which is, choosing my photos, resizing photos, making a collage for my lookbook and getting some of the writing for the post done (yes, even though i am writing in past tense, i wrote this last night because i knew i would be posting today!).

So we went to Amarettos (which i already mentioned at some point yesterday) and we were both really looking forward to it as we hadn't been in a while. Im really annoyed because i forgot to take an insta-pic of my starter, too busy talking (which is not a bad thing, we have a rule that mobile phones are not allowed at the table especially when we are out. Only to quickly photography the meals). So i shall have to try and word it excellently, oh and don't forget to add that french i mean italian accent ;)

For a starter, i had rich and creamy goats cheese covered in dark, golden crunchy breadcrumbs, expertly fried. With a tomato and an added dribble of sweet chilli sauce. As well as a fancy salad drizzled in a balsamic vinegar.
And here is my main, Fettuccini Pescatore. Which is tiger prawns & clam meat with a pesto white wine sauce.

Jacket- Topshop
Shirt- Topshop at a Charity Shop
Skirt- H&M
Bag- Ebay
Lipstick- Limecrime in Glamour 101
Eyeshadow- H&M buy here

OUTFIT DETAILS
I wanted to wear something smart and casual as i was going out for a meal but we were "maybe" going to go to the cinema. We did end up going and we seen White House Down. I picked the shirt first as i wanted to be warm, as its getting quite chilly in Scotland now. Then i picked this skirt  because i haven't worn it in a while and it is one of my favourites to just thrown on, it goes with quite alot. Not bad for £8 a few years ago! You can probably guess why i picked the jacket and the boots. They matched the pattern and colour of my shirt. I love this jacket, its bright fucking red. Again, these boots are some of my favourites! I couldn't just got for a plain pair of red Jeffrey Campbells, then i would have the same as everyone else ;)
