WRAP UP FOR WINTER

Hiya guys! Im back again with another outfit ;) Back on my blogging streak again. I promise that i'll try not to leave you guys so soon this time, at least not until next November! I've been up very early today so i started with a cup of tea and then i emptied the bunnies cages. Then made sure i was wearing something suitable to show off to the world. I think i did ok. Might not be to everyones taste, but i certainly like it! ;) Once everything has been sorted it was time to shoot off.

Today is actually going to be a day where there is "things" happening. As we didn't make it out for lunch yesterday with Chris' mum, we made today our lunch date instead. We went to Linwood Farm House, which has somehow become one of my favourite restaurants. It just does fantastic bang on brilliant pub food. They are super quick at getting your orders out to you as well, which is really important if you are starving have eaten anything yet ;) I went for something pretty much the same as i always get, gammon steak, fried eggs & chips. Instead of  Ham & eggs... Which is just slices off a huge joint (it has a carvery as well as a set menu). Its really not different, but i thought id switch it up anyways :)

Also tonight, we have a few mates come around as im off down to my dads soon for christmas. So we thought it would be a good chance to basically see everyone before the proper festive celebrations start. Me and Chris are having our christmas on the 20th and going out the day before as well. Up in Glasgow, at Georges Square, every year they put an ice rink there. So we thought it would be pretty nice to make a day of it, go up have a wonder, go skating and then go for something to eat at the Glasgow Hard Rock Cafe that has just opened. Plus Chris has never been to one so that will be awesome! To be honest i haven't been to one for a few years now ether, i also forgot to visit the one in Paris while we were there... I was extremely upset with myself once i had remember.

I realllllllyyy don't suit the "duck face" or "pout"

I'll stick to my awkward smile thanks!

OUTFIT DETAILS- HOW DID I COME UP WITH THIS?
It was such a miserable day today, i was lucky i got photos as i didn't think i'd get the chance. So i decided to layer up. Also, i've had this 2 piece for a while and i really wanted to get it up as i actually love it and wanted you all to see it while it was still available on the site! Its super comfy and awesome, i love the structured look of it and that its quilted. The pink top is the only sweatshirt t-shirt i have so thats why i picked it, not because it's the "in" colour. I then decided to basically accessorise around this. I went for my converse again because of comfort, plus the bright pink laces. I also threw on my bugs necklace and pink lipstick to match the rest of the pink on me. I went for my huge vintage oversized jacket, just because its fucking cool. Plus i wanted a kind of clash of styles with the hat and jacket. The hat is more chic and lady like, while the jacket is just pure vintage & grunge. Oh and its super thick and keeps me extremely warm. Which can help. Especially in the winter... DUH.
(Not just think about style, its also about comfort ;) )

IM BACK!

Hiya guys! Sorry ive been so MIA, its that time of year again! Its always harder to get photos as its now getting dark at 4 o'clock, sometimes even 3...yikes! As well as our lovely scottish winter weather arriving, which means heavy winds and rain that comes and goes when it pleases. Its also always a bit tough for me around this time of year as well, due to my mum not being around anymore. Theres my birthday on the 26th of Nov (i will have a post up soon, as i said bad lighting & weather! So i need to put my outfits back on and photograph them) and of course nearly an exact month later its Christmas! So sub-consciously i think, i think about it more than i realise as im not completely myself and my mood is a little bit sad. Which of course is only natural. I've just not had the energy or enthusiasm to really make sure i was able to get photos, even if on the odd occasion there was a small chance for me to get photos. I've just not taken it. Due to ether wearing scruffs (that has happened alot the past few weeks...) or just not in the mood.

Other things that i have been up to is searching the internet for wedding inspiration and arranging things for the wedding! I have meetings booked in january to go see people, such as florists, humanist and im calling a caterer tomorrow! So will arrange to meet them as soon as possible after the christmas period. I've found a photographer! And im super happy that i managed to bag her for my big day ;) Just need to get a deposit along to her and then she will definitely be ours for the day! Im so super excited now its un-real, making an actual start has alot to do with this! We are also having an engagement shoot, even though it is fairly late for us im really happy that we've been give the opportunity to have one. It will be nice to have some proper nice photos of Chris and i. Also, if you want to keep up with what im doing then follow me on Twitter and Pinterest to have a look at what im going for.

Oh! And also while i remember:
Don't forget to check out Choies 50% off here!
honestly one of the best online shops so go go go!

Jacket- Vintage
Cardigan- Primark
Bag- Romwe
Lipstick- Topshop buy here in Brighton Rock

OUTFIT DETAILS
I wanted something pretty casual and comfy today, but i couldn't think what to actually go for. I seen this dress out the corner of my eye peeking out from all my other dresses, so i thought why not? Im pretty sure its not featured on the blog before and it has a really girly feminine feel and style to it. Whenever i wear pink i always think of my pink baroque heels that i got from Topshop but i really didnt want to be putting on big fancy heels today. That was when i remembered i could shove on my old trusty converse with pink laces (added them years ago, well my mum did, they are mens converse), they are more than comfy! I added my thick black cardigan as it is pretty cold in Scotland now, and layering is pretty much needed everyday! Threw on my oversized leather jacket to toughen it up and keep me warm and i was good to go! Oh and of course the black bag ;)

BE FUN AND PLAYFUL

Hiya :) I've not done much today, went out for lunch as per usual but apart from that nothing! I need to give my bum a kick again, try and get into a routine. What i need to do is get back into my list making again. If i write a list of things i want to do in a day, i find it easier to get things done. Its because i can actually visually see what i need to do, then i can tick it off. Its like a reward system, it really does make me feel happy every time i tick something off. Is it that sad? I don't really think so, humans love the feeling of achievement. No matter how big, small or "weird" it is, you feel great if you have completed something. I really am trying to get more of a routine into my life, its something i feel i need. Baby steps are ok for now, because eventually they will turn into big steps and i will be able to achieve what i want for myself. So i'm trying not to get too hung up about it all.

Jumper- New Look
Dress- New Look
Wedged High-Tops- Topshop
Bag- Market Abroad
Tights- New Look
Lipstick- Chanel in Legende

OUTFIT DETAILS
So i picked my dress first and i thought id do one of those looks when your throw something over it. I really like those types of outfits, it means
1) You get more skirts
2) You get more wear/outfits out of your dresses.
I thought the colour and style went quite well with the dress, so i thought i would go for a pastelish look. The wedges were picked because i didn't really want a high heel look, i wanted a casual comfort type of outfit. Also, i seemed to be heading in the floral direction as well. I love the colour of this bag, the blue matched my trainers and i think it really added something to the outfit. I don't know how, i just feel as if it did. Plus the reason i called this post "be fun and playful" is because i was a little playful with some of my poses and i felt really cool in this outfit. I felt playful and like i was going to school for some reason. It must be the beanie hat & wedged trainers...
