LIGHTNESS & DARKNESS

Hiya everyone, im back! I have so much photography to show you guys, but i need to sort through them all first! As well as photos, i took a few video clips while i was away as well so once i have done all that i am going to post the outfits i wore so that you can see everything all together. So as soon as possible i am going to get to work on my holiday stuff! I have loads of posts and videos to get together from way before i went on holiday as well so i really need to get to work on my blog!

Today me and Chris went out too lunch with his grandparents and we went to harvesters, i had the plantation platter and it was delicious! I didn't eat it all so i brought most of it home. I haven't really been up too much recently just been getting back into being home and obviously sorting out my suitcase. Luckily enough i didn't have alot of washing to do as i did a big chunk of it before i came home!

OUTFIT DETAILS
I just threw this outfit together today. I really wanted to wear my new wedged trainers and something a bit grungy. Now, i have to admit i AM NOT a fan of the wedged trainers and the sporty trend (i have mentioned about the sporty trend before) but as soon as i seen these trainers on Topshop i instantly fell in love with them! So much so ive bought them in a size 7 rather than my normal size 5. I still haven't come across another pair that i have even liked. They are so comfy and with these ones (im not sure if you can do it with any other wedged trainers) i can actually take the wedge bit out. So if i just want to wear them as normal trainers i can. Perfect! I thought the jumper and skirt would much because the colours in them both are quite toned down and pastel like. As well as there being blue in my skirt. The hat, obviously helped me keep a small dark edge to the outfit and the slight grunge feel i wanted.

THESE SUNNY DAYS ARE MAKING ME SO HAPPY!

Hello everyone! How are you all doing this fine day? Gorgeous weather still, its so incredibly hot in Scotland we really are having a heatwave. It really does make you forget about global warming ;) (i am definitely pro saving the planet, looking after it and all the wildlife! So dont panic, im not being literal)I know i havent been posting much or even made any more videos but i am going to get it together, i promise! I was a very lucky girly today and once again treated by my amazing fiance Chris! We went to Prezzo in Braehead which is our nearest local shopping centre (i didnt buy anything i only browsed! Was very tempted though). Ive only ever been once before but i didnt really enjoy it, it was because i used to be quite fussy. I think they have changed the menu a little bit now aswell, so that helped!

Here is what we had, we had a sharing platter to start with, Chris has Carbonara and it looked amazing! I have never really fancied it, but after today looking at his i think im going to have to try it. I had chicken with parma ham & cheese on top with cheesey potatoes! Amazing.

Todays outfit was literally thrown together. Before Chris left to pick his mum up from work, he told me to wear something kind of dressed up. So i knew instantly i needed some heels on! But with the weather you want comfy aswell, not pain! I thought i would try a kind of pastel look today, i dont wear pastel too much as i find it too intimidating and girly. Believe it or not im really not the "girly type" dont get me wrong, i love my dresses, skirts and heels. But pastel just screams girly! I like to wear something  with a bit of a hard edge, dark. So anyway, this outfit came together. I have a bit of a soft spot for this skirt for some reason, i thought it would look great with this vest and of course it created that bit of dark i needed to feel comfortable. These wedges are extremely comfy so i threw them on as-well as my white bag which i add to all my pastel/girly kind of outfits. Theres not much thought behind the jewellery, i threw it all on at the last minute!

Theres a bit of a story behind this skull necklace, many of you may or may not know but 2 years ago i sadly lost my mum. I am a firm believer in the spiritual world and i do still believe that she is around looking after me and watching me. Now ghosts, apparently they have quite a mischievous side to them and like to hide things! Which takes me back to the necklace, no word of a lie i had lost it for about 2-3 months? I looked everywhere, continuously looking into my necklace box and emptying it. In hope of finding it. It was a gift for my 18th off my little brother so its very special and sentimental for me. So as i was pulling out the other necklace im wearing today, there it was. Entangled. I couldn't believe it! She is constantly hiding things in the flat, we have to actually ask for them back then they re-apear again! Crazy stuff.

THIS ISN'T ME..

Hiya everyone how are you all today? Our summer in Scotland has now been and gone. Now replaced with the grey skies and the grey mood that accompanies them. I have had a very lazy day, not getting up until past mid-day! I know, im very naughty. I was very tired from yesterday so i fell into a very deep sleep filled with loads of crazy dreams. As Chris is normally on breakfast duty, he made us both to a square sausage (lorne sausage, sliced sausage, flat sausage) sandwich. Its a scottish delicacy. If you ever come to Scotland you have to try them, none of that normal sausage crap :P

All we have literally done today is run to Asda to get some puddings, as i cooked some dinner for Chris' grandparents and us. I cooked my famous honey-roasted gammon. Its one of my favourite meals and meat! With it we had rosemary & garlic roasted potatoes with cauliflower cheese & brocoli, with added cheese on the top. Fatties. Here are the results.

I wore this outfit a few days ago, well last week, and never got round to posting it. I think i just had a few lazy days then i was visiting my dad. But it dosent really matter as you are getting to see it now! Now the reason for the title post is because i felt well out of my comfort zone wearing this. Its very pastel & pink. I know i look like a girly girl but girly things and pastels do not make me feel comfortable! I need to add something dark or a kind or rock/grunge vibe to it. But im glad i pushed myself and wore something out of my comfort one. I do think ill wear more pastel outfits and maybe ill get used to it, but i think i will maybe try to add something with a darker edge to make it more me and feel comfortable.
