IM BACK!

Hiya guys! Sorry ive been so MIA, its that time of year again! Its always harder to get photos as its now getting dark at 4 o'clock, sometimes even 3...yikes! As well as our lovely scottish winter weather arriving, which means heavy winds and rain that comes and goes when it pleases. Its also always a bit tough for me around this time of year as well, due to my mum not being around anymore. Theres my birthday on the 26th of Nov (i will have a post up soon, as i said bad lighting & weather! So i need to put my outfits back on and photograph them) and of course nearly an exact month later its Christmas! So sub-consciously i think, i think about it more than i realise as im not completely myself and my mood is a little bit sad. Which of course is only natural. I've just not had the energy or enthusiasm to really make sure i was able to get photos, even if on the odd occasion there was a small chance for me to get photos. I've just not taken it. Due to ether wearing scruffs (that has happened alot the past few weeks...) or just not in the mood.

Other things that i have been up to is searching the internet for wedding inspiration and arranging things for the wedding! I have meetings booked in january to go see people, such as florists, humanist and im calling a caterer tomorrow! So will arrange to meet them as soon as possible after the christmas period. I've found a photographer! And im super happy that i managed to bag her for my big day ;) Just need to get a deposit along to her and then she will definitely be ours for the day! Im so super excited now its un-real, making an actual start has alot to do with this! We are also having an engagement shoot, even though it is fairly late for us im really happy that we've been give the opportunity to have one. It will be nice to have some proper nice photos of Chris and i. Also, if you want to keep up with what im doing then follow me on Twitter and Pinterest to have a look at what im going for.

Oh! And also while i remember:
Don't forget to check out Choies 50% off here!

OUTFIT DETAILS
I wanted something pretty casual and comfy today, but i couldn't think what to actually go for. I seen this dress out the corner of my eye peeking out from all my other dresses, so i thought why not? Im pretty sure its not featured on the blog before and it has a really girly feminine feel and style to it. Whenever i wear pink i always think of my pink baroque heels that i got from Topshop but i really didnt want to be putting on big fancy heels today. That was when i remembered i could shove on my old trusty converse with pink laces (added them years ago, well my mum did, they are mens converse), they are more than comfy! I added my thick black cardigan as it is pretty cold in Scotland now, and layering is pretty much needed everyday! Threw on my oversized leather jacket to toughen it up and keep me warm and i was good to go! Oh and of course the black bag ;)

OLD GIFTS CAN BE RENEWED

Hiya everyone, how are you all doing today? I'm a little bit annoyed with myself today. For a few days there, i was doing really well with getting up early and trying to do something important with my time. Theres things i want to re-arrange or tidy around the flat, but by the time i'm getting up there really is no point on starting. It doesn't help that light bulbs keep going out because by late evening its pitch black, so its too dark to try and tidy everything. I really need to try and remember to get some new light bulbs this weekend. I'm also wanting another lamp for our bedroom, we had to move the smaller one form the living room into the bedroom. So i eventually want to move that light back to where it originally was.  In our bedroom the big lights' bulb also broke, as well as something happening to the lamp in there...

I have alot of posts and videos i need to organise so i can finally upload everything online. So i think wether or not i like it, i am going to have to get up quite early one day and just get everything ready to go for my blog and youtube. The problem is, i lack in motivation so much! I struggle to organise myself sometimes. So tomorrow is a new day, i will start with the early mornings again and try to get all my backdated stuff up online. So as usual on a wednesday we went out with Chris' grandparents and we went to Frankie and Bennys at Xscape, braehead for lunch. By the way, they have changed their specials menu so i would go check it out if you get the chance!

Cilli bbq chicken wings to start with and philly chicken wrap with a jacket potato for my main! (trying to make healthier choices with my meals!)

OUTFIT DETAILS
So todays outfit is very green. I can't help it, i love the colour! The post title is linked to this dress, i got it for my 15th birthday and its my first "branded/designer" dress and i have always been in love with it! I still am, even though its old and tatty. Plus i have way nicer dresses than this one now... But it will always hold a special place in my heart. I actually wore this the other day, but we ran out of daylight to photograph, as its getting very dark early in Scotland now. I have added a few more bits and bobs to what i originally wore the other day, but i had a bit more time to think about it today. So i thought the hat and coat would add a very nice touch with their style, as well as the coat matching the colours in my dress. The scarf was added because its now freezing here! I also wanted to wear some heels with this dress so naturally my green boots were selected.

MY MUM TOLD ME GUNS "N" ROSES WERE GOOD FOR ME

Hiya guys! Im really trying to get back into the swing of things and post more regularly. I have a lot of backdated outfit posts to show you, as well as photography, trips away and vlogs! So i think plan of action is when i have photographed an outfit i am going to post one i have already got sitting there. So there is going to be a mix of current outfits and summery ones. In all honesty, i just need to get up early and get to work. If i really put my mind to it i could have all the work done in 3 days. BUT seen as it is the weekend i am just going to continue blogging normally if i decide to post anything. Im not saying i only blog mon-fri but if i have a lot of blog related work (no my blog isn't my job but anything to do with it i just like to call it work) to do id rather start it on a Monday. What can i say? I have weird OCD tendencies.

(No i do not have OCD and i am sorry if i offended anyone with the remark saying i have "weird OCD tendencies" i DO NOT find anything mental health related weird or something to be made a joke about).

Today, Chris and i got up fairly late (as we always do) and decided to go to the cinema and for something to eat as a late lunch. Of course we went to one of our favourite restaurants Amaretto. I had my favourite because i hadn't had in such a long time. Which was of course bruschetta milano and sea-bass with chorizo & mediterranean vegetables. We went and seen the film Elysium, i had my eye on it since i first saw it advertised.

OUTFIT DETAILS
I do not really know/remember how i got this outfit together. It was pretty much "quick get out the door" type of outfit. I've been wearing these jeans alot recently just because jeans are quick and an easy to throw on and you can still look ok (even if you know your being a scruff for the day). Again, the t-shirt i just threw on and the heels matched the top slightly because they both have yellow and a greyish black on them. Plus, heels always add a "dressed up" feel to an outfit. Even if, as i said before, you know you are being a scruff for the day. The bag, i personally thought would match because of the yellow in the top but it was more beige than yellow. But oh well, i rolled with it anyway. The coat, OMG this coat, i am totally in love with this jacket at the moment. I threw it on because of the androgynous over-sized feel to it and the fact it was green. I thought i needed to add the hat because my hair was a bit scruffy and it added an edge to the outfit, off-duty model look or whatever.
