Summer Loving

Hiya guys, sorry I have been MIA again, I always seem to fall off the face of the earth with blogging... Woops. There's always a reason & it's always the same reason as well. I'm not going to get fully into it right now but I am doing a dedicated blog post on it soon, so stay tuned! When I'm not blogging or creating videos, I do miss it terribly. I find it all quite therapeutic,  the concepts of the videos & photos, choosing which photos to use, the editing of both the videos & photos. I have no idea why. Of course, when there's a lot to do it can become overwhelming, which is why it is sometimes hard to start. But once you have started, once i've started, I don't want to stop and my head is full of ideas.

I actually received an e-mail a few days ago from godaddy saying that my 2 year renewal of my domain had gone through. That is actually what gave me a little kick up the arse. I thought to myself, fuck, that's when I decided to rebrand and start again. But what have I actually done? So I thought I really need to get back to the drawing board and set myself some actual realistic goals.  I do have quite a bit of content I still need to sort through from a few months ago when I went to Belfast.

I'm also off to back "home" next week for a few days so I'll have quite a bit to post from the trip as well! It's been almost 5/6 years since I have actually been to Havant/Chichester since I moved up to Scotland a few years ago. There is so much excitement in me. It will be so weird being back in childhood places again. I'm such a different person from who I was, an awkward, probably over dramatic teenager.  Who thought they knew better, when in reality, a lot of the time at that age you really don't.

So I am going to leave this short but sweet post for you guys for now, I'm hoping it won't be too long before I post again. I just really wanted to get these photos up before the trip because I'll be posting about the trip afterwards. I'm maybe going to try and post while I'm away so I don't scare myself with having a mountain of things to get through when I arrive home. But we will see. I don't trust myself to follow my actual plans! Oh well, hehe!

Kimono- Next
Sunglasses- H&M
Dress- Topshop on Ebay
Necklace- Gift & Market on Holiday
Trainers- Topshop
Bag- Vintage
Lipstick- Topshop in Brighton Rock

Outfit Details
In all honesty, I can't remember what I was doing the day we took these photos or the exact reason behind wearing this. From what I can tell, I was clearly going for shades of purple when putting it together... I know i've wanted to style this kimono with this dress. So thats probably how I choose the wedged trainers and white bag. The shades & hues go well together. I also probably wanted to try and clash style, as always, with the sporty wedged trains and almost boho vibe of the kimono and round sunglasses.

DAISES, FLOWERS & DUNGAREES

Heya everyone, i am so sorry that ive been so bad at blogging recently. I was doing so good as well, i had gotten myself into a little routine. Oh well it starts again today! I've even got a haul video done today, but i'm posting it tomorrow on my YouTube as i'm not going to have time. I need to get this post up and also post on my Chictopia & Lookbook which takes me 2 hours in total! I'm also off out to the cinema tonight. I have no idea what we are seeing though, as Chris has chosen and isn't telling me as a surprise. ;) We normally have a take away if we go to the cinema, its just a bit of a tradition. Its also because we like to go to quite late showings so we'll normally grab one afterwards. But we're having one before tonight as im starving!

We went out today with Chris mum for lunch, as we pick her up for work and then go for a catch up. I had toasted BLT (without the t) with coleslaw and ready salted crisps. But i only managed a measly half of a sandwich as its that time of the month (you understand ladies) and i had a bit of a sore/sickly tummy so i had to donate it to Chris instead (which, lets be honest, he was obviously happy with that. What man/boy doesn't eat like a horse and eat pretty much everything). I've also had some fantastic changes with my blog, i'm now working with companies which is an achievement i think, its nice to get some recognition for your blog/style. As well as having a company i wanted to work with and that is Choies as i really love the brand and how amazing their items are! Im also working with Persunmall which i think is a fairly new brand, but they honestly have some amazing pieces! Go check them out! Oh and Romwomen which is fantastically priced and has some awesome wardrobe staples.

OUTFIT DETAILS
So today i knew i wanted to wear my kimono, i'm very obsessed with it at the moment. I thought i would throw on my dungarees (with a red top underneath) on as i haven't really worn them. Also because i wanted to show that you can still get away with wearing them in a/w, by obviously layering up. I haven't personally seen anyone with a short pair on since we've entered winter so i thought id try and be a little different! You know me, dosen't matter what it is but i try and do it with a twist! I used the tasselled bag because i though it went well with the kimono and the hippy type feel i had already seemed to be going for. I put on my tartan litas to match with the red i was wearing and to obviously keep up to date with the tartan theme thats everywhere!

THIS AUTUMN SUN ISN'T GOING TO LAST FOREVER

Heya, sorry its been a while! Just thought i'd have a bit of a lazy week with blogging to be honest. So how are you all? I'm not too bad, i've started to go walking 3 times a week now. I really want to do some exercise and get my fitness up so i thought for me walking would be a great way to start then i can build up to doing more. I go with my younger cousin around the cycling path, down to the bottom of the village and back up again. I'm also hoping this means i can use some of that time in the morning to work a bit more on my blog.

Oh and i have a question for you all, would you like me to start editing my photos more? To try and make them a bit more professional or do you feel they are fine the way the are?

Jeans- Topshop at Ebay
Bag- New Look
Boots- Jeffrey Campbell at Oxygen Boutique similar here
Sunglasses- H&M
Lipstick- Limecrime in Glamour 101

OUTFIT DETAILS
I have been waiting for ageees for this kimono to arrive, ive been so excited! I really love kimonos but they are so expensive! So when Persunmall kindly gifted me it, i was over the moon! And it really is reasonably priced so i would check it out quickly! The quality of it is fantastc as well and i really love the "over-sized" feel to it. I wanted the colours of my outfit to match the kimono so i went with my casual green skinny jeans and a white top with red on it to match. I wore these jeffrey campbells just to keep up with the current trend of tartan, as well as them being a gorgeous red colour. I went with a darker red lipstick today as both Chris and i felt the darker tone really suited the reds i was wearing. Oh and the scruffy hair? I just though it looked perfectly "chic messy", it was the right kind of messy but still kind of cool enough to leave the house with...

HAIRSPRAY THE MUISCAL

Hiya guys! I was going to try and get this posted yesterday but i didnt have time! We were lucky enough to have the opportunity to see the West End production of Hairspray The Musical. We seen it at The Playhouse in Edinburgh. I was so excited! I love the theatre and have seen a few productions in London, so it was really nice to be able to see a west end production on home turf. Of course it was fantastic! Everything was brilliant, the styling, the singing, the choreograph and of course the acting! Also from October to January the west end production of Lion King is coming to town, so if you are in Edinburgh at that time or even local go get your ass to see it! Ive seen it before and its one of the best productions i have ever seen. Before hand we went out for something to eat, i didnt catch the name of the place but it was a cute little rustic italian. To start with i had risotto balls (i know, i know, AGAIN!), with a salsa type dip and for my main i had carbonara.

(excuse my awkward smiling face...)

OUTFIT DETAILS
As i was going to a west end production, i thought it was the right occasion to really dress up. I thought the dress had a nice classy edge to it as well as the jacket. I really love this marni x h&m jacket, because it really is a classic, wardrobe must have. A going out jacket. It also kind of matches the Kimono trend going on at the moment (Chris said it was like a Kimono). I added this clutch and these shoes because they were both patent and went with the outfit well. The jewellery, i went for silver statement (fake jewelled) earrings, a pastel purple beaded necklace and a skull ring as well as jewelled ring. Oh and i had to add the purple tights because the dress is see through, its actually something your throw over a bikini at the beach!

Coat- Marni for H&M H&M

Clutch- New Look
Heels- Next
Tights- New Look
Earings- Primark
Necklace- New Look
Rings- Punk Pistols (pretty sickly blogshop)

ANOTHER DAY BEEN & GONE

Hiya everyone! Good news, we had the sun pay us a visit today! Well, this afternoon really. As you all know by now, its a wednesday, so we went out for lunch with Chris' grandparents and went to Harvesters in Xscape. Before i went out, i went to visit a family friend as there has been seen some devastating news so i wanted to show my support. It was a pretty normal wednesday to be honest. I really havent been up too much as the weathers been crap and i've been skint, except rushing to my old college to get council tax redemption forms sorted out. We have been up at least 6 or 7 times to try and get our old lecturers to sign them. Nearly each time they were ether out for lunch or out for the rest of the afternoon. Or they just weren't there at all! So we eventually decided to leave the forms with them to fill out, but when we got them back they hadn't even filled them out properly! They forgot to sign it, which is pretty much the most important part of the form as at the office they cant even stamp it officially without the heads signature. Aswell as getting Chris' course wrong.

So todays outfit is a very summery one! Im really loving this vest top i was gifted by Persunmall, i dont really own alot of tops just t-shirts, so this is a really great addition to my wardrobe. I really love the unique style of the back aswell, i think its quite different. I thought the top would go quite well with these shorts because of the colour then i realised they were flowery too so if anything they matched even more than i planned! As it was a little nippy this morning i added my kimono as it had matching colours and flowery patterns. I wanted to wear these shoes as they are kitten heels and i personally thought they added a bit of elegance to the outfit. I used a brown handbag and sunglasses because i thought they would match my top and outfit more than black.

Top*- Persunmall buy here (its in the sale!)
Shorts- Jones & Jones
Heels- New Look
Bag- Market abroad
Sunglasses- H&M buy here
