Losing Myself in Argyll, Scotland
Hiya guys! Its been a few days if not a week since i last posted! I did have a vlog from when i visited my dad & his side of the family, but silly me, didn't check the files were loaded onto my laptop completely and deleted them. I am trying to recover them but if not there wasn't really anything special lost.
So about a week or so ago, Chris' parents decided to have a cheeky little break away. They booked a decent sized cabin and off they went on their adventure. They had been before and if you check here you will see my last outfit post from when we took a drive up. Since i am writing this post, then i think its obvious that Chris and I were invited up for the day! We all have a pretty good time. It was so nice to be able to drive to somewhere far away, especially to a place so beautiful. I love nature & the countryside. I think its very easy to lose yourself in your thoughts when you drive somewhere you admire. Scotland really is a beautiful country and I think I can take that for granted. But I know thats pretty natural for anyone living wherever they live. My dad & his family have all often said that they don't take advantage enough of living right next the lake district. Which is also VERY beautiful may i add?
If we can afford it next year I think Chris and I will try and get our own little cabin booked, maybe even go with a few friends. I'd love to explore more up there, there are tons of trails & places to walk to. As well as there being loads of neighbouring cute tea cafes, plus we've already got our eyes on a cool looking restaurant... Its in a castle/church looking building! I can only imagine the delights that I could potentially find inside! What can I say? Chris and I are both huge restaurant & food enthusiasts. Am I right in saying that its one of the ways into someones heart? Well, if that isn't recorded anywhere I'm claiming it and saying I was the first. So, there you go folks, its actually that easy to find the love of your life. The way to get someone to like you is to obviously make someone a meal and all will be a happy ever after... Not! Although, I have heard the expression that; The way to a mans heart is through his stomach. (pretty much what i said...)
Not quite sure that will give you eternal happiness but it is an expression! I have to say though, it makes me happy feeding Chris and cooking for him. But I think thats an affectionate thing. When you see joy in someone, or if you give someone joy, it makes you feel joy as well. Also, the photos of me are always taken by Chris but any other photos are by me :)
OUTFIT DETAILS
Now, because i was going into the wilderness of Scotland (if only). I thought it was best that i tried to look like a gorgeous bohemian princesses. You know, the long flowy dresses, the hats, the laid back oversized patterned bag and don't forget THE boots to tie it all in. I think i did my best. I wouldn't see I looked gorgeous because well, I don't say that about myself. But I am very happy with how the outfit turned out as well as how it looked against the amazing backdrop that is Arrochar. Plus I love the mix match of the green dress & green backpack. Same colours but different patterns and thats what I'm all about!

A DAY FOR LOVE (VALENTINES DAY)
Hiya guys! Oh. My. God. I know, i'm back! Where have i been i hear you all ask? Welllll to be perfectly honest i'm not really going to get too in depth about explaining my "internet-disappearance act" (unless you guys stalk me on Twitter & Instagram then you will have known i was alive), all you guys really need to know is; Yes i took a break and now IM BACK! And i really do promise that i am back for good :) (well, for now anyway...Just Kidding! Im back for GOOD!) I want to get straight back into blogging as much as possible again, i've really missed it! My little blog has really become such a huge part of my life now, i feel almost lost if i don't do anything with it...
So i would have preferred to have been able to do my 20th birthday post before this one as i really like to do things in order, or it freaks me out. I know i'm weird but i've come to terms with that. BUT i have been having some issues with my SD card that i don't think would have be sorted for today and i was pretty set on doing a post today. So i thought, oh well just get on with it and do my other one for now. As i might not even be able to sort the problems myself and will have to go into a shop, so it could take days or weeks. I don't know! So i wasn't prepared to wait that long to get back on track. I've come to terms that the post may be waaay into the future :P
So i hope you are entertained & kept happy with this post for now!

So Chris very kindly treated me this Valentines! Normally, we do go halfs on things like this, but he wanted to be a proper gentleman this year! What a lucky girl i am :D He took me to the hotel at which we had our meeting with our wedding caterer! So it was kind of extra special because of this, i will always know remember that i've had a wedding meeting & a valentines there. Its one of the most beautiful hotels i have ever had the pleasure to stay out! It was one of the Dakota Hotels, we actually went to the one in Glasgow (click here for the actual Glasgow site) but to be honest its not right in Glasgow i would say its on the other side of Glasgow compared to where we are (which is 15 mins away). I can still NOT get over the meal! Seriously one of the most amazing beautiful meals i have ever eaten! If you look at my instagram photos above you will see or just search for "addictionstoshoppingvalentines" on instagram. We also went to the cinema (cant remember what we seen) and the next day we went to frankie & bennys for breakfast.
Look how big that pillow is! :O We didn't sleep with it though.
For some reason i look a little ginger here?
Cute little cookies in a little jar! Soo awesome :D (with a bite out of it...LOL)
OUTFIT 1 DETAILS- DURING THE DAY
So i wanted something pretty casual for the day and because i was still obsessed with that brownish handbag, i thought i would go for a more neutral/burgundy kind of look. I really loved the outcome of the outfit it was still pretty & girly as well as being a little dark & grungy. I obviously had my Dr.Martens & my awesome unif leather jacket to help me feel not so girly! Which is obviously the COMPLETE OPPOSITE to my evening attire :P But what can i say? I always throw something in to be dark!
Jacket- Minkpink at Asos (£120 to half price! Bargain)
Valentines Present T-shirt- House of Holland (wanted for ages)
Valentines Present Trousers- Asos (wanted for ages)
Heels- Topshop
Bag- Romwe (help add the dark to my outfit)
Headband- Crown & Glory
Lipstick- Topshop in Brighton Rock
OUTFIT 2 DETAILS- Evening Wear
So i have this thing, where if i'm getting clothes/fashion kind of stuff as presents i always wear it that day/evening or for the event. Now as it wasn't really a birthday/christmas type of event i knew what i was getting (so did Chris he asked for a new keyboard & mouse for his gaming PC) as i'd asked specifically for these items which were the top & trousers. So i had planned in advance i wanted to do a kind of pink extravaganza with my items :P The top is a very light pale pink and because the pills on it are blue & pink i thought im just gonna have to do it! Although, rather than wearing my pink baroque heels i switched them for the navy blue ones to go with the top and for a bit of contrast. As everything was pretty much pink...

I WOULD RATHER GROW UP WITH HIPPIES THAN MOBILE PHONES
Hiya everyone! How are you all doing? Its been a really lovely sunny day again, here in Scotland! It was a bit greyish for 2 days but the temperature was still high! Im just glad that we are getting a 2nd chance with the sun this summer, as last year it was quite bleak and depressing. I personally think just with the sun being out your spirits are lifted and you feel happier. Not only that, there are activities you can do that money isn't needed for. Like going for walks, to the beach (if you are near one) and bike rides like we did last Saturday, i do have photos for you aswell as an outfit post from then. But i just havent got round to editing the photography and choosing my outfit photos. Aswell as the photos form Silloth. I do promise that i am going to try and get some of the photography from Silloth edited tonight and i will schedule them to post automatically tomorrow.
Today as usual on Wednesday, we went out for lunch with Chris' grandparents. We went to Xscape as theres loads of food places there. We went into Frankie & Bennys, i am very sorry but i forgot to take my phone out with me so i dont even have any insta-pics of the food for your mouth to water at! Although i will try my hardest at describing them cleverly for you, so your mind can do all the work! Thus creating your mouth to water ;) Well here goes!
(Imagine a sexy french accent describing it to you, not my awkward english- slightly scottish twang voice)
To start with, one had 5 (no not 4) very large meaty chicken wings. Covered in Louisiana hot sauce, which made your taste buds come alive and dance. Then one had Sister Rosarias Lamb Shank for main. Oh yes, not just ANY lamb shank, this one was Sister Rosarias Lamb Shank. As a side there was generous portion of thick creamy mashed potato, that just melts in your mouth. Oh and dont forgot the most famous addition to this meal, the mint gravy. With added Rosemary.
Is it working? Is your mouth watering? Please let me know below ;) I tried my hardest!
Now onto todays outfit. As i seen it was nice weather i wanted to wear something light and cooling. I remembered i had this dress and because it was quite baggy i thought i would try and take some inspiration from Sara from Waiste. GO CHECK HER BLOG! She has quite a bohemian hippy vibe to her style and i just adore it! Although it may not be something she may wear id still say i took inspiration from her especially adding something over the top of the dress. She has an amazing collection of cardis & kimonos, i dont so i thought this shirt would give it the effect i was looking for! Aswell the hippy bag and i was ready to go! So Sara, if you see this i hope you like it! <3
Oh and by the way, sorry for the photo heavy post!
