Birthday Wishlist 2016

It's coming up to my 23rd birthday in a few weeks, 26th of November to be exact. Just in case you want to make a note for your diary... I have some mixed feelings about it. It seems only yesterday that I was even leaving my teens behind, to be now heading directly into my 20s is a little crazy to me... I sometimes panic that I'm not going to have enough time to do everything I want to do! Even when I tell coworkers or people of an "older generation" that I'm getting old, they just laugh at me & say I've got my whole life ahead of me. I don't think it helps when my baby face is staring at them, talking about ageing. So I have to try and remind myself what I have seen and done so far, as well as realising people are living right up to their 90s nowadays. Not that I think I should ignore the fact that time is passing by significantly quicker than it used too... But It does make me more determined to conquer the world, to see & hear as much of it as possible. Because there is still so much more to be done!

So since it is coming up to my birthday, I thought it would be pretty cool to share what I'm currently eyeing up. As well as giving some hints to my nearest & dearest... I'm not expecting to receive everything here, some of these things I'm hoping to maybe catch in the Black Friday sale. It's actually fallen on the weekend of my birthday this year. I went crazy last black Friday, but I'm not planning to this year. If anything from this list has money off during black friday and I haven't gotten it as a present, then yes I will probably buy it myself to say Happy Birthday. I'm not embarrassed to treat myself just because I'm getting older, any excuse to get a little treat. This year I'm more interested in the boxing day sales. Just because there isn't anything I'm overly desperate to get, but it will be great to see what deals there are after Christmas. So if I get any money, I think I'm just going to save it this year.

Who knows, since it is coming up to that time of year. Maybe you'll take inspiration from this yourselves. Maybe you'll see something for a family member, or a close friend. SUMMER WHERE ARE YOU?

Hiya Guys, here i am with another post! Like i said in my previous post, i am here to stay for good this time. I really want to start focusing on my blog more as it really is a positive thing for me to focus on and i enjoy it a lot. Its something that i can do every week and it helps make me feel not as "worthless". Even though i'm not a "professional blogger" or earn any money from it, it is like a job! And i really enjoy doing this and want to keep doing it for as long as i can. I hope then even when i'm a "proper adult" with a real job, real working hours, hopefully a family and whatever else my life takes on that i still continue this little blog of mine! I was never that girl who was great at keeping diaries. I always started them for a wee while, then id forget to write in it one day and never go back to it. Until i found it in a corner somewhere gathering dust... (Well, not really gathering dust, but you understand what i'm trying to say).

So what i quite like about my blog is that it is a bit like a journal for me. No i don't type up my most private darkest secrets, but if anything happens or i'm doing anything its recorded and stored right here on my little space of the internet. So hopefully in years to come, even if i'm not still blogging i will be able to look back at my life a bit and remember some of the "not so important" moments of my life and the "important" ones. Even when i have children they will be able to look up this little ol'blog and have a nosey at what me and their dad got up too and my (i'm assuming by then) god awful out of date style. As it will be by then!

So today i didn't get up too much, i had an appointment at 11:30 so we made sure we were up in time for that as we had to travel a bit further than usual. Then we picked up Chris mum for a little spot of lunch! We then came home and Chris cut the grass as we have finally got a dry enough day. I'm so looking forward to the summer when i can get some lovely flowers and put them in my front garden! Do you like lovely flowers in your garden? Or are you a gardener yourself?

OUTFIT DETAILS

So i actually threw this together half asleep this morning... As i said i had an appointment and i didn't give myself much time to get organised. So i thought i would go for the "bright trousers and black" look. As it was quick and easy to throw together! I seen these "jogger type" trousers which i hadn't worn in a while and since we've been getting slightly nice weather i thought they would be awesome to wear as they are quite light. Plus i didn't want to throw on my bright lazy oaf leggings again, as i've worn them a lot recently and done a black look with them. So because black goes with everything i thought it would be a quick option to grab a black top, leather jacket and some black & white heels to match the top. I chose these clog type heels as they have black and white on them which matches my band top with white writing.

Hiya everyone, sorry ive been "mia" missing in action. How are you all doing? Have you been struck down with the return of the bad weather like we have in Scotland? We were getting such nice weather then all of a sudden the cloudy skies and spitting returned. Last weekend i went down to my dads as my little brother was visting because of fathers day. The plan originally was to turn up and surprise him this weekend, but it turned out that Thomas was visiting last weekend instead. We had a good time together, if you seen my instagram the weather was amazing! I even got a little sunburnt while we were at the park playing cricket. My brother isnt normal he has some amount of energy! Even when its boiling hot and hes too tired to run, he keeps running! I really wish i had his energy and enthusiasm for sport.

These photos were taken a few weeks ago at my villages' annual fete & parade Lillias Day. It was created for someone who used to live here, quite some time ago, but to be honest i cant even remember why it was even created and why we celebrate it for her. It used to be really good and busy, but i feel these days people really arent interested in these sorts of things. Especially taken part in your community. Chris and i found my two cousins to watch the parade with as Amy lives here aswell and Lisa has two children, who love these things. Then we just hung about with my younger cousin and her boyfriend for a wee while. Unfortunately, all that day the rain was on and off so we came home and watched a movie. The sun actually decided to pay us a visit once everything had finished and been cleared away.

Im pretty sure originally that day i had something else planned to wear, but since it was raining a little i had put something on a bit more warm and covered. I literally threw this together as i seen the top next to my bed and i hadnt worn my Dr martens in a while. I did want something a bit cool/rock looking to wear but i wanted to be comfy also as i knew id be walking about. I really love how this outfit turned out and even though ive now blogged it, i would like to wear again. Soon. I added some pink lipstick to add a pop of colour and since im always wearing red!

ALL YOU NEED IS ROCK

Hiya everyone, you all good? Ive had another good day and again its been all thanks to Chris! He took me to one of my favourite restaurants in Balloch near Loch Lommond called Balloch House. Its amazing!!! If you are ever in area i really recommend you to visit. Its a restaurant and a b&b, its right on the river side and has some beautiful views all the way around. Theres also a footpath you can walk, which we have yet to venture along. Its old traditional food with a fancy twist, it really is too good. I had a lamb shank pie which was delicious and we had a sharing platter for starter. It had lamb meatballs, chicken strips, breaded mushrooms, belly pork and some breaded sticks with a cheesey sweet onion sauce. Chris had a burger (again) with chips. We then went to the cinema to see Iran Man 3! We both loooove all of these types of movies and really could not wait to see it.

Our honest opinion on the film is, that yes it was good and of course is typically Iron Man BUT not as good as the first two! I honestly believe there is an explanation for this though. There is meant to be another avengers film and there are more of the avengers releasing individual films. So i think its to give some of the rest of the other avengers some limelight with their films. What do you think? Have you seen it? If so, what is your opinion on the film?

Again we have some lovely weather for photographing! I put this outfit together a couple of weeks ago when me and Chris went to his dads work to do some corporate photography for college. I thought i should look smart and presentably but with my own style and a twist. Its also what i wore when i done my first wedding job. Like i said in my previous post, i really like to smarten casual things up and casual smart things down. I thought it was time i wore this suit aswell, which i got agesss ago. I had my eye on it for ages and snapped it up when it went into the sale. Today i just want something comfy as my feet have sores from wearing my black heeled brogues the other day.
