SOMEWHERE ALONG THE COUNTRY PATHS

Heya everyone :) What have you been up today? When we got up we went and done our weekly food shop. We were going to go for another bike ride but the weather is/was extremely hot today! Also im not 100% as i missed 2 injections the day before yesterday. Oops! So my heart was feeling a bit sore... bad isnt it? So instead of wasting the day we decided to stuff ourselves silly ;) We went to our usual favourite spot, Amarettos'. Honestly, if you are ever in or near Glasgow make a trip to Bridge of Weir! Its one of the best restaurants ever. The lunch time menu wasnt on as me missed it by few minutes or so. There was, however a specials menu on and we've never seen it on before so it was a bit of a surprise. Chris (fiance) ordered from the specials for a bit of change but i stuck to the main menu.

Chris had meatballs in napoli sauce with garlic bread to start with, then had a sausage, mozzarella and caramelised red onions in a napoli sauce calzone. I had potato & leek soup to start with then had breaded chicken with mozzarella & ham covered in a napoli sauce.

Todays outfit was pretty much thrown together as i was in a rush to get out the door, i was pretty hungry and so was Chris. I dont think ive ever worn this dress so i threw it on and because of its light material. Waay to hot for me! I put on my red snake skin heels as i thought they were a nice touch, plus i wanted to wear heels, but i had to be careful what to put on. I have a sore from another pair of heels on my ankle at the moment. I have very sensitive feet due to my diabetes so i need to be very careful what i wear. The white bag, obviously matches the white in my dress and i didnt have to struggle to get it out of the mountain of bags in my wardrobe. To be honest thats why i go through stages of just over wearing certain bags, i cant be bothered to have a fight every time i want to change my bag. The hat i thought would add a nice lady-like touch aswell as helping with keeping me cool!

PLEASE TAKE ME AWAY ON YOUR HARLEY DAVIDSON...

Hiya everyone, sorry ive been "mia" missing in action. How are you all doing? Have you been struck down with the return of the bad weather like we have in Scotland? We were getting such nice weather then all of a sudden the cloudy skies and spitting returned. Last weekend i went down to my dads as my little brother was visting because of fathers day. The plan originally was to turn up and surprise him this weekend, but it turned out that Thomas was visiting last weekend instead. We had a good time together, if you seen my instagram the weather was amazing! I even got a little sunburnt while we were at the park playing cricket. My brother isnt normal he has some amount of energy! Even when its boiling hot and hes too tired to run, he keeps running! I really wish i had his energy and enthusiasm for sport.

These photos were taken a few weeks ago at my villages' annual fete & parade Lillias Day. It was created for someone who used to live here, quite some time ago, but to be honest i cant even remember why it was even created and why we celebrate it for her. It used to be really good and busy, but i feel these days people really arent interested in these sorts of things. Especially taken part in your community. Chris and i found my two cousins to watch the parade with as Amy lives here aswell and Lisa has two children, who love these things. Then we just hung about with my younger cousin and her boyfriend for a wee while. Unfortunately, all that day the rain was on and off so we came home and watched a movie. The sun actually decided to pay us a visit once everything had finished and been cleared away.

Im pretty sure originally that day i had something else planned to wear, but since it was raining a little i had put something on a bit more warm and covered. I literally threw this together as i seen the top next to my bed and i hadnt worn my Dr martens in a while. I did want something a bit cool/rock looking to wear but i wanted to be comfy also as i knew id be walking about. I really love how this outfit turned out and even though ive now blogged it, i would like to wear again. Soon. I added some pink lipstick to add a pop of colour and since im always wearing red!

OLD OLYMPIC DREAMS

I cant believe thats the olympics started! I think im gonna to chat more on here about my personal likes, hobbies and interests. I dont really chat that much about anything on here. So i am going to start today! I am actually a huge huge fan of the olympics and sports. Ten years ago when it was announced the olympics was going to here in the uk i was super super excited and happy! I was pretty confident i was going to be running 100m :D I love all things sporty really, im gonna tune into the horse riding events (i used to have a horse and ride), love the gymnastics as i used to do it when i was younger and loved it! I will also be tuning into the races as i love that aswell. Im going to try and watch as much as i can! So that is why i have named this look "Old Olympic Dreams", plus i was wearing red and my union jack creepers today :).
I have been wanting to showcase this skirt to you all for ages! But i just hadn't had the chance to put it on yet, me and Chris went for a nice meal to TGI Fridays. Its a shame in the pics its miserable weather because now, after the meal, its oh so sunny! Sods law though isnt it? So during the day ive been wearing my creepers then to make it more dressed up i put my black frilly socks form Topshop on and my red suede sandals, which i dont wear as often as i should do as they really are a stunning colour!

SNOWHITE ATE MY HEART

Sorry i havent posted an outfit in a while, the weather here in Scotland is so bipolar! Plus the days it has been nice all day ive been having lazy gross days and havent wanted to be in my nice clothes. I wore my new creepers today! They are super comfy, in love with them already! They are much heavier than id thought they would be, but they are still pretty easy to wear. Our shower has broken so we have been currently going over to Chris parents house for showers. So ive just come back form seeing the film "Seeing a friend to the end of the World", it was really good! There was a girl in it who wore everything she had never worn to a dinner party and im thinking of doing an outfit of just things i havent worn. Also Kiera Knightlys character wore a really cool outfit, just a run and go outfit, of a nice pink dress converses and a warmish coat. I think i might do an end of the world outfit, something really extravagant but easy enough to run around in!
