Birthday Wishlist 2016

It's coming up to my 23rd birthday in a few weeks, 26th of November to be exact. Just in case you want to make a note for your diary... I have some mixed feelings about it. It seems only yesterday that I was even leaving my teens behind, to be now heading directly into my 20s is a little crazy to me... I sometimes panic that I'm not going to have enough time to do everything I want to do! Even when I tell coworkers or people of an "older generation" that I'm getting old, they just laugh at me & say I've got my whole life ahead of me. I don't think it helps when my baby face is staring at them, talking about ageing. So I have to try and remind myself what I have seen and done so far, as well as realising people are living right up to their 90s nowadays. Not that I think I should ignore the fact that time is passing by significantly quicker than it used too... But It does make me more determined to conquer the world, to see & hear as much of it as possible. Because there is still so much more to be done!

So since it is coming up to my birthday, I thought it would be pretty cool to share what I'm currently eyeing up. As well as giving some hints to my nearest & dearest... I'm not expecting to receive everything here, some of these things I'm hoping to maybe catch in the Black Friday sale. It's actually fallen on the weekend of my birthday this year. I went crazy last black Friday, but I'm not planning to this year. If anything from this list has money off during black friday and I haven't gotten it as a present, then yes I will probably buy it myself to say Happy Birthday. I'm not embarrassed to treat myself just because I'm getting older, any excuse to get a little treat. This year I'm more interested in the boxing day sales. Just because there isn't anything I'm overly desperate to get, but it will be great to see what deals there are after Christmas. So if I get any money, I think I'm just going to save it this year.

Who knows, since it is coming up to that time of year. Maybe you'll take inspiration from this yourselves. Maybe you'll see something for a family member, or a close friend. Or maybe you'll even see something you would like for yourself! Let me know what you think in the comments below. I would love to hear what you're asking for this year. For your birthday or Christmas!

THIS AUTUMN SUN ISN'T GOING TO LAST FOREVER

Heya, sorry its been a while! Just thought i'd have a bit of a lazy week with blogging to be honest. So how are you all? I'm not too bad, i've started to go walking 3 times a week now. I really want to do some exercise and get my fitness up so i thought for me walking would be a great way to start then i can build up to doing more. I go with my younger cousin around the cycling path, down to the bottom of the village and back up again. I'm also hoping this means i can use some of that time in the morning to work a bit more on my blog.

Oh and i have a question for you all, would you like me to start editing my photos more? To try and make them a bit more professional or do you feel they are fine the way the are?

OUTFIT DETAILS
I have been waiting for ageees for this kimono to arrive, ive been so excited! I really love kimonos but they are so expensive! So when Persunmall kindly gifted me it, i was over the moon! And it really is reasonably priced so i would check it out quickly! The quality of it is fantastc as well and i really love the "over-sized" feel to it. I wanted the colours of my outfit to match the kimono so i went with my casual green skinny jeans and a white top with red on it to match. I wore these jeffrey campbells just to keep up with the current trend of tartan, as well as them being a gorgeous red colour. I went with a darker red lipstick today as both Chris and i felt the darker tone really suited the reds i was wearing. Oh and the scruffy hair? I just though it looked perfectly "chic messy", it was the right kind of messy but still kind of cool enough to leave the house with...

DRESS ME IN RED & TARTAN

Hey everyone, so this outfit is from last night when we went out. We decided to go the cinema after dinner as well, so by the time we got in it was already 12ish. I tried to get my post up but by the time we were actually getting into bed i just didn't have time to finish off everything i needed too. It takes me about half hour putting in the clothing links for my blog, chictopia and lookbook. As well as posting updates on my facebook page and twitter to let everyone know i've updated. So i decided to just get the main bulk sorted. Which is, choosing my photos, resizing photos, making a collage for my lookbook and getting some of the writing for the post done (yes, even though i am writing in past tense, i wrote this last night because i knew i would be posting today!).

So we went to Amarettos (which i already mentioned at some point yesterday) and we were both really looking forward to it as we hadn't been in a while. Im really annoyed because i forgot to take an insta-pic of my starter, too busy talking (which is not a bad thing, we have a rule that mobile phones are not allowed at the table especially when we are out. Only to quickly photography the meals). So i shall have to try and word it excellently, oh and don't forget to add that french i mean italian accent ;)

For a starter, i had rich and creamy goats cheese covered in dark, golden crunchy breadcrumbs, expertly fried. With a tomato and an added dribble of sweet chilli sauce. As well as a fancy salad drizzled in a balsamic vinegar.
And here is my main, Fettuccini Pescatore. Which is tiger prawns & clam meat with a pesto white wine sauce.

OUTFIT DETAILS
I wanted to wear something smart and casual as i was going out for a meal but we were "maybe" going to go to the cinema. We did end up going and we seen White House Down. I picked the shirt first as i wanted to be warm, as its getting quite chilly in Scotland now. Then i picked this skirt  because i haven't worn it in a while and it is one of my favourites to just thrown on, it goes with quite alot. Not bad for £8 a few years ago! You can probably guess why i picked the jacket and the boots. They matched the pattern and colour of my shirt. I love this jacket, its bright fucking red. Again, these boots are some of my favourites! I couldn't just got for a plain pair of red Jeffrey Campbells, then i would have the same as everyone else ;)

TASTE MY OXBLOOD LIPS

Hey everyone, im so so so sorry ive just disappeared off the face of the earth! First of all, Happy Christmas and Happy New Year! Hope you all had a fantastic time in the holiday season! Ive not really got any excuses except i think i had gotten myself into a bit of a rut. We had unfortunately turned night into day so by the time we were getting up it was like 8 at night and dark and i wasnt going anywhere. Home and bed just seem to be the only places i were going too and the only suitable clothes for that were Pjs, and scruffy clothing if i was to step out at 2 in the morning for a macdonalds. I think my mood had and is maybe still a little bit low and down. Chris has said aswell that im not myself i just seem to be like a blank canvas, no expression, no fun. I do however think is related to it being the holiday period and subconsciously thinking about my mum. I really do miss her and when its the holiday times and birthdays i must be thinking more about her than id like to admit or even realise. So right now plan of action is to sort life out and try and be a bit more up and about!

So this outfit just sort of naturally came together. The sad thing is, ive had this skirt for three years and not worn it once untill this outfit! I got it when i went to New york. I totally love that tartan is in atm as a Scott it makes me quite proud that a national thing is in. I think whats awesome about this skirt aswell is that its not any normal tartan colour. Its ORANGE. I do really love the skirt and ive just been waiting for AGESSS for the right moment! I do quite love this outfit as i think its quite chic and casual at the same time without trying to hard! It has just the right amount of effort in it :)

Im really going to try more now in my photos to "model" a bit more. Because for me i enjoy a blog more if the photography is good and if the blogger is posing and trying. So im really happy with how these photos turned out as they are different from my usual "stand there and smile" photos. Anyway hope you enjoyed reading what i had to say and like my outfit and photos!
