IM BACK!

Hiya guys! Sorry ive been so MIA, its that time of year again! Its always harder to get photos as its now getting dark at 4 o'clock, sometimes even 3...yikes! As well as our lovely scottish winter weather arriving, which means heavy winds and rain that comes and goes when it pleases. Its also always a bit tough for me around this time of year as well, due to my mum not being around anymore. Theres my birthday on the 26th of Nov (i will have a post up soon, as i said bad lighting & weather! So i need to put my outfits back on and photograph them) and of course nearly an exact month later its Christmas! So sub-consciously i think, i think about it more than i realise as im not completely myself and my mood is a little bit sad. Which of course is only natural. I've just not had the energy or enthusiasm to really make sure i was able to get photos, even if on the odd occasion there was a small chance for me to get photos. I've just not taken it. Due to ether wearing scruffs (that has happened alot the past few weeks...) or just not in the mood.

Other things that i have been up to is searching the internet for wedding inspiration and arranging things for the wedding! I have meetings booked in january to go see people, such as florists, humanist and im calling a caterer tomorrow! So will arrange to meet them as soon as possible after the christmas period. I've found a photographer! And im super happy that i managed to bag her for my big day ;) Just need to get a deposit along to her and then she will definitely be ours for the day! Im so super excited now its un-real, making an actual start has alot to do with this! We are also having an engagement shoot, even though it is fairly late for us im really happy that we've been give the opportunity to have one. It will be nice to have some proper nice photos of Chris and i. Also, if you want to keep up with what im doing then follow me on Twitter and Pinterest to have a look at what im going for.

Oh! And also while i remember:

OUTFIT DETAILS
I wanted something pretty casual and comfy today, but i couldn't think what to actually go for. I seen this dress out the corner of my eye peeking out from all my other dresses, so i thought why not? Im pretty sure its not featured on the blog before and it has a really girly feminine feel and style to it. Whenever i wear pink i always think of my pink baroque heels that i got from Topshop but i really didnt want to be putting on big fancy heels today. That was when i remembered i could shove on my old trusty converse with pink laces (added them years ago, well my mum did, they are mens converse), they are more than comfy! I added my thick black cardigan as it is pretty cold in Scotland now, and layering is pretty much needed everyday! Threw on my oversized leather jacket to toughen it up and keep me warm and i was good to go! Oh and of course the black bag ;)

I WOULD RATHER GROW UP WITH HIPPIES THAN MOBILE PHONES

Hiya everyone! How are you all doing? Its been a really lovely sunny day again, here in Scotland! It was a bit greyish for 2 days but the temperature was still high! Im just glad that we are getting a 2nd chance with the sun this summer, as last year it was quite bleak and depressing. I personally think just with the sun being out your spirits are lifted and you feel happier. Not only that, there are activities you can do that money isn't needed for. Like going for walks, to the beach (if you are near one) and bike rides like we did last Saturday, i do have photos for you aswell as an outfit post from then. But i just havent got round to editing the photography and choosing my outfit photos. Aswell as the photos form Silloth. I do promise that i am going to try and get some of the photography from Silloth edited tonight and i will schedule them to post automatically tomorrow.

Today as usual on Wednesday, we went out for lunch with Chris' grandparents. We went to Xscape as theres loads of food places there. We went into Frankie & Bennys, i am very sorry but i forgot to take my phone out with me so i dont even have any insta-pics of the food for your mouth to water at! Although i will try my hardest at describing them cleverly for you, so your mind can do all the work! Thus creating your mouth to water ;) Well here goes!

(Imagine a sexy french accent describing it to you, not my awkward english- slightly scottish twang voice)

To start with, one had 5 (no not 4) very large meaty chicken wings. Covered in Louisiana hot sauce, which made your taste buds come alive and dance. Then one had Sister Rosarias Lamb Shank for main. Oh yes, not just ANY lamb shank, this one was Sister Rosarias Lamb Shank. As a side there was generous portion of thick creamy mashed potato, that just melts in your mouth. Oh and dont forgot the most famous addition to this meal, the mint gravy. With added Rosemary.

Is it working? Is your mouth watering? Please let me know below ;) I tried my hardest!

Now onto todays outfit. As i seen it was nice weather i wanted to wear something light and cooling. I remembered i had this dress and because it was quite baggy i thought i would try and take some inspiration from Sara from Waiste. GO CHECK HER BLOG! She has quite a bohemian hippy vibe to her style and i just adore it! Although it may not be something she may wear id still say i took inspiration from her especially adding something over the top of the dress. She has an amazing collection of cardis & kimonos, i dont so i thought this shirt would give it the effect i was looking for! Aswell the hippy bag and i was ready to go! So Sara, if you see this i hope you like it! <3

Oh and by the way, sorry for the photo heavy post!

WEARING MY SKIRT TO MY KNEES LIKE I JUST DONT CARE

Hey everyone, was at college today so was in comfy things! I cant really wear big heels to this college because theres a few flights of stairs to walk up and long corridors! Its also because i have very sensitive feet, i really do need to take care of them and they get scuffs and blisters oh so easy. This is actually because im diabetic and diabetics need to look after their feet. I probably should take more care of my feet but im too much of a goof to remember :P

So today i actually want to go for a really dark black grungy outfit but instead i came up with this! I was running about last night (i always plan my outfit the night before college so i can get changed quickly and go!) making our baguettes for college and getting all my things for college together, putting all the things i need into my handbag. I just found my Pretty Reckless tee, that i forgot i had, then i seen the skirt and thought what the hell give it a go. Plus ive hardly worn my Ed Hardy Cons, ive had them for 2 years and worn them out the house once! Its because i dont want them to get ruined though :( I do love them though i think they are fantastic and super super cool. I got my shoes in New York when i went for my 16th birthday, my mum got me them. Even a few years later i still love them lol cant beat converses theyll always rock! I do really like Ed Hardy, i know their stuff can look a bit tacky sometimes but i love the designs and when i first found the brand i was reallly really into rock. I still am into rock but my style dosent pure show rock. I think ill always be a rock/indie/alternative chick at heart.
